Description

The University of Gloucestershire is looking to appoint a new member of staff in the Technical and Applied Computing subject area which is part of the University of Gloucestershire’s School of Business & Technology. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a real flair for teaching and research to join the team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growing portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and apprenticeship courses, taking on module leadership roles where appropriate.  The research profile of the Technical & Applied Computing is expanding and you will be expected to contribute to the research activities of the team.

We are looking for applications from Computing specialists who will have experience of teaching in Higher Education and an interest in the research and development of current technologies. The applicant should have excellent technical skills in programming, database design, networking and knowledge of digital forensics would be an advantage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the continuing development of the Technical & Applied Computing subject area and its primary aim to deliver a range of high quality academic courses.
