About the school
The School of Education and Sciences at the University of Gloucestershire is a thriving and exciting environment to work in. The School’s vision is based on three key words: Belonging, Transforming and Professional. We are a student-centred institution, and these three words guide our decisions, targets and ambitions for the School. The post-holder will primarily be based at both Francis Close Hall Campus in Cheltenham and City Campus in Gloucester, working alongside the Psychology team.
About the role
Making a contribution to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the post-holders will be engaging and innovative lecturers who share our student-centred approach, ready to offer a high standard of support and keen to make a positive contribution to the student experience and employability.
We are particularly looking to appoint individuals who can offer specialisms in Advanced research methods, Individual differences and/or Social Psychology. A willingness and flexibility to contribute to aspects of the core psychology curriculum is an asset.
Applicants should offer a research portfolio commensurate with career stage and trajectory. They should also be able to outline a clear personal plan to develop a programme of research.
Based at our attractive Francis Close Hall campus in Cheltenham and City Campus in the Heart of Gloucester, we offer a welcoming, diverse and positive working environment.
From September 2025, Psychology will be relocating from its current premises to the City Campus, a new development for the University that will be a focal point of Gloucester City, and a modern centre for teaching learning and community partnerships.
