About the school
We are seeking to appoint a Sport and Exercise Technician Demonstrator to support our Sport and Exercise provision. The successful candidate will be part of a team of Sport and Exercise Technicians supporting the School of Education, Health and Sciences.
This is an exciting opportunity for an appropriately qualified, experienced, and motivated individual to join our established provision. The school’s facilities include a range of specialist laboratory and practical space housing sophisticated equipment to support teaching and research applications in Sport and Exercise, Strength and Conditioning, Sport Performance, Sports Therapy, and Physical Education and Coaching.

About the role
The integration of new and conventional technologies into the formal learning and teaching environment is vital in Sport and Exercise Sciences. Data acquisition, processing and analytics are fundamental to science modules underpinning Sport related courses.
The role is central to our delivery and apart from efficient technical support the post holder will be expected to undertake practical demonstrations, delivery, support research and student recruitment activities, and also be involved with sport science consultancy services.
The role holder will work within our technician team and act as a key point of contact and day to day support for academics integrating laboratory and mobile equipment into their teaching.
