0.5 FTE, 2 year FTC internal only, including students of UOG

With the student experience at its core, Academic Registry provides a flexible student focused administration service supporting core academic activities of the student lifecycle and the operation of the Academic Schools. The Academic Registry works in partnership with academic and administrative colleagues throughout the University to provide a professional, high quality, and customer-focused service in support of the University’s academic mission and strategic priorities. The Department is the central focus for academic administration in the University, which includes responsibility for the management, coordination, and delivery of a range of services and activities within the student life cycle, and the associated data management.

 This role will work specifically with the School of Business, Computing and Social Sciences ( BCSS) to support the administration the newly established Professional MSc International Business by Research course. This will be varied role, working across activities such as:

·         Be the main point of contact for staff and students either by face to face interactions, email or telephone calls. 

·         Collating and monitoring attendance records

·         Working with the immigration team to ensure all relevant information and data is up to date and accurate

·         To coordinate the allocation of supervisors and examination teams.

·         Support Academic course leaders (ACL) with student progression and course activity

You will be customer focused and have a meticulous attention to detail.  Prior  experience of working with people from different cultures and background is desirable but not essential. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
