About the school or department
The Marketing and External Engagement and Stakeholder Engagement (MSE) directorate is responsible for a range of University-wide services. It has strategic and operational responsibility for key University functions and processes. Although not exhaustive this includes: the development and production of marketing materials and corporate public relations; alumni relations; recruitment initiatives and outreach/widening participation activity; a range of externally focussed projects and sponsorship arrangements; market intelligence, social media, communication and PR.
About the role
The Project Officer will work closely with the Head of External Relationships and corporate event team colleagues to create a programme of business support events and interactions that will result in the achievement of the programme outputs and outcomes resulting in support for new enterprise growth in Gloucester. Working with the existing portfolio of content and collateral the Project Officer will support in the launch of a tailored Start and Grow funded programme to support pre-start and early stage business growth in the city, and work alongside other funded programmes and stakeholders to achieve this.
