0.6FTE, 22.2 hours per week. We take a flexible approach to hybrid working, as a guide you would be expected to be on site at least 60% of the working week.

About the department

Academic Registry provides a flexible student focused administration service supporting core academic activities of the student lifecycle and the operation of the Academic Schools. The Academic Registry works in partnership with academic and administrative colleagues throughout the Universityto provide a professional, high quality, and customer-focused service in support of the University’s academic mission and strategic priorities. The Department is the central focus for academic administration in the University, which includes responsibility for the management, co- ordination, and delivery of a range of services and activities within the student life cycle, and the associated data management.

 

About the role

The Academic Registry is seeking a Registry Officer (Timetabling) to play a key role in the development and delivery of our academic timetable. As part of the Academic Registry team, you will work closely with academic and administrative colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our teaching and events scheduling.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the University’s academic timetable
  • Work with academic staff to meet student and resource requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of timetabling data
  • Assist students and staff with timetabling queries and room bookings
  • Contribute to the enhancement of timetabling systems and processes

 

About You:

  • Strong administrative experience in a large organisation
  • Experience using timetabling systems (e.g., TimeEdit preferred)
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
