Description

0.5 FTE, 18.5 hours per week

 

Under the University’s Agile Working Policy, a mix of working from home (if desirable) and on-campus working, across University sites for particular events and meetings. AQEI staff are normally expected to spend 3 days per week (pro rata) working on campus and to attend all in-person meetings and events.

 

About the department 

The AQEI team works with Academic Schools across the University to lead the implementation of the University’s quality framework including course validation, course modification, and annual course enhancement monitoring. Further work is to enhance expertise in teaching and learning, develop the curriculum, maintain resources to support innovative practice, and grow staff knowhow with a range of learning technologies.

 

About the role

AQEI Administrators are responsible for working supportively and collaboratively across the AQEI team, playing a pivotal role in supporting the University’s staff and curriculum development, and the implementation of its quality assurance policies and processes. Due to the broad remit of the AQEI team, this role will allow you to gain wide experience and understanding of key elements of quality, enhancement and innovation within a higher education context.

 

 

You will be an integral part of an enthusiastic, dynamic team committed to maintaining high standards and will contribute to our commitment to the University’s strategic objectives through the delivery of high-calibre quality policies and processes, ultimately impacting the success

of our students and the credibility of our University.

 

 

A partnership approach to working co-productively with School teams, our students and other key stakeholders will be fundamental to achieving the outcomes the University is aspiring to achieve.
