The Estates Department

Responsibilities of the department include managing the estates strategy, property maintenance, property management, facilities management, and health, safety, and environmental oversight.  

 

Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)

We are now recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join our Estates team. Working across our 4 campus you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of varying maintenance and electrical requirements both reactive and proactive. You will have a formal recognised and registered apprenticeship in appropriate electrical services. City and Guilds or equivalent certificate, a current Edition of BS7671 wiring regulation and a thorough understanding on Building Electrical Maintenance and installations in buildings.

*Successful applicants with evidence of current, continuous membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) or the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) will be eligible to continue membership of the scheme – further information can be provided throughout the process
