We are looking for a Simulation Technician Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic simulation team. About the Role
As a Simulation Technician Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our simulation-based education by ensuring that our clinical skills laboratories and specialist equipment are well-maintained and ready for use.
You will work alongside our experienced Simulation Technicians, academic staff, and students, assisting with the setup and operation of simulation equipment, preparing learning spaces, and maintaining stock levels. This is a hands-on role that requires technical awareness, good organisational skills, and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in the daily operation of simulation labs and clinical skills rooms
- Setting up and maintaining simulation equipment and healthcare training models
- Supporting academic staff and students during practical teaching sessions
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained and learning spaces are organised
- Helping to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
