We take a flexible approach to hybrid working, as a guide you would be expected to be on site for 50% of your working time.
About the role
The School of Health and Social Care is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced physiotherapist(s) to join the Physiotherapy academic programmes staff. We are open to full time or part time applications.
This post offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School of Health and Social Care forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond in collaboration with strategic healthcare partners.
You will have substantial clinical expertise in physiotherapy, and a passion for supporting students to succeed. As a lecturer grade you would be expected to undertake a post graduate certificate in academic practice (PGCAP) on appointment to the role.
You must be a Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
This post requires a DBS check.

Interview details
You will be required to complete a 15-minute teaching session on:
‘An introduction to physiotherapy- my speciality’
This teaching session will enable you to showcase your ability to provide teaching and learning in an engaging and inclusive way. Please take a small aspect of your physiotherapy work and provide a short teaching session to the panel which is indicative of your education practice.
This will be followed by a short formal interview
