This is a fixed term contract until 31 July 2025
The postholder will be required to be on campus for at least 3 days per week / 60% of their working hours.
About the department
The External Relationships (ER) team is an integral part of our Marketing and Stakeholder Relations directorate, led by our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The ER team has responsibility for a wide portfolio of activities including Apprenticeships, Executive Training, Business Support, External Communications and Global Partnerships; all with a focus on attracting new learners to the institution. Following a successful bid for funding from the Office for Students, University of Gloucestershire is now engaging in promotional and outreach activities designed to increase learner numbers on some of our degree apprenticeship programmes. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of successful marketing campaigns to ensure that we meet our learner targets whilst extending the reach of the apprenticeship offer amongst our target audiences.
About the role
Reporting to the Apprenticeships Project Marketing Manager, the postholder will work with the wider team to help drive forwards this funded project. They will work on a range of activities that will contribute to the recruitment of learners via both employer and learner facing communications.
This role will cover a range of marketing responsibilities including:
- Sourcing, creating and collating content for communications for a range of on and offline channels
- Supporting the creation and delivery of a communications plan for the recruitment of apprentices
- Monitoring and report on effectiveness of communications and engagement strategies, reporting trends to the project leadership team.
- Supporting the planning and organising events and other business engagement activities.
- Helping maintain the University’s CRM system.
