About the school or department
As a Marketing & Campaigns Officer at the university, you’ll be based in the Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement (MSE) team and will join an innovative Marketing & Campaigns team in a fast-moving environment.
From managing, delivering and analysing the success of engaging and fully integrated marketing and student recruitment campaigns to sourcing and evaluating relevant marketing data and market insights, it’s an exciting time to join the University. With ambitious student recruitment growth plans, you will play a vital role in helping to attract and convert potential new students to University of Gloucestershire.
About the role
We are looking for a fully integrated marketer who has knowledge and understanding of both digital and offline marketing. You will have experience of and involvement in print campaigns, online content creation, advertising, e-comms, social media, producing creative and professional publications and web content, sourcing information, writing copy and liaising with third party agencies where required.
You will play a key role in planning, delivering and reporting on fully integrated marketing campaigns across UG, PG and international markets.
Working with internal department, academic and school colleagues you will source, collate and create a consistent flow of on brand content for use in campaign and marketing output. You will write engaging and on brand copy for use across campaigns, digital marketing, CRM activity, website content and more.
You will source, evaluate and report on relevant marketing data and key market insights from various internal and external sources to ensure accurate segmentation of the market to enhance our understanding of key demographics and geographies – both for our UK and International audiences.
Experience of working in a Higher Education setting in the area of marketing and student recruitment along with a professional marketing qualification (CIM) would be desirable.
In joining us, you’ll become part of successful and respected Marketing & Campaigns team and support colleagues to deliver market-leading campaigns and communications to our future students and their stakeholders.
