About the school or department

The External Relationships team is an integral part of our marketing and student recruitment department led by our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The ER team has responsibility for a wide portfolio of activities including Apprenticeships, Executive Training, Business Support, External Communications and Global Partnerships; all with a focus on attracting new learners to the institution. Following a successful bid for funding from the Office for Students, in 2024 / 25 University of Gloucestershire will be engaging in promotional and outreach activities designed to increase learner numbers on some of our degree apprenticeship programmes. The purpose of this role is to oversee the project administration and delivery of this funding allocation specifically relating to audit and governance accountabilities.

 

About the role

 

This is a key role that will, working with the wider team, drive forwards the OFS funding secured and ensure that the project remains on target and compliant, in line with our funding commitment. 

 

Some of the principal responsibilities of this role will be to:

  • Drive project goals, scope, and deliverables that support the funded programme objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support in the creation of project plans to be shared with clients and other staff members.
  • Lead and coordinate project staff and resources to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

 

The postholder will be working with an incredible and established team of professionals and will also enjoy working with wider stakeholders throughout the University to ensure project success.
