Disability Administrator, Student Wellbeing – internal candidates only
0.5 FTE (18.5 hours) with additional 0.2 (7.4 hours) FTE for 12 months Sept 24-Sept 25
Based at Park Campus
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful disability support team within Student Wellbeing. The role holder will provide administrative support for the team but also be responsible for particular processes relating to the coordination of support for students who require learning support workers, coordinate financial processes relating to funding streams for disabled students and administer systems around diagnostic assessments for disabled students.
This post holder will work extensively with other Student Wellbeing staff, but will also be responsible for liaising with other academic and professional teams, but also external organisations. As such we are looking forward to receiving applications from well organised,flexible individuals with high levels of customer service. A commitment to working from a social model of disability is essential in this role. Successful candidates will also be highly student focused, empathetic and have excellent interpersonal skills.
