Disability Services Manager, Student Wellbeing - Internal Candidates only 

 

1.0   FTE, Grade 8 

 

Based at Park but elements of working across all sites required

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful disability support team within Student Wellbeing.  The role holder will manage a dedicated team providing support to the significant number of students who disclose a disability at the University, leading on the provision of advice and guidance, influencing inclusive practices across academic and professional departments and ensuring the University is compliant with national and sector guidance. 

 

This post holder will work extensively with other Student Wellbeing staff, but will also be responsible for liaising with other academic and professional teams.  As such we are looking forward to receiving applications from flexible individuals with in depth knowledge regarding the application of inclusive practices for disabled students who are comfortable working with autonomy, negotiating and influencing others and striving for excellence.  Successful candidates will also be highly student focused, empathetic and have excellent interpersonal skills.
