Description
The Gloucestershire Research Office (GRO) oversees all research activity within the University, including our evolving research strategy, PGR student experience, preparations for REF, and advice and guidance around funding opportunities. We are currently inviting expressions of interest for the following key leadership roles, all of which report directly to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost. All roles will work closely with the academic Schools and the CCRI:
SM123a - Head of Research (Strategy and Environment). This is a permanent, G10 post, .6 FTE. The postholder will line manage the GRO Manager and will be pivotal in leading and developing UoG's overarching strategic approach to research and research support
SM123b - Head of REF Preparation. This is a 5-year secondment, G10, .2 FTE. The postholder will develop and lead our strategic approach to REF 2029 and also ensure the strongest possible REF submission
SM123c - PGR Student Experience Lead. This is a 3-year secondment, G10, .2 FTE. The postholder will provide strategic leadership for the continued improvement and enhancement of the PGR student experience across the University.
