Lecturer - Grade 7 - £37,099 - £41,732 per annum
Senior Lecturer – Grade 8 - £42,568 - £53,877 per annum

Are you an enthusiastic academic with a strong background in Social Work practice?
The School of Health and Social Care is seeking to recruit passionate academic staff for the above post to further develop and deliver flexible, and innovative teaching reflecting current practice within the subject area. You will need a strong practice background as a Social Worker and evidence of working with students as a Practice Educator or with academic experience.

As a member of the Social Work team you will work closely with the Academic Course Leader and our collaborative partners to deliver the vision for Social Work and Social Care in the University of
Gloucestershire.
An enthusiasm to embrace change, the ability to work well independently and as part of our innovative team and the desire to become involved in the growing research profile of the school are essential.
The School of Health+ will be relocating from its current premises on Oxstalls Campus to the City Campus, a new development for the University that will be a focal point of Gloucester City, and a modern centre for teaching learning and community partnerships.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience in Adult Mental Health Social Work and/ or specialist knowledge of Social Work Law and Policy.
Key requirements
Relevant Social Work Qualification (Degree/DipSw/CQSW)
Registered as a social worker with Social Work England
Demonstrable extensive practice knowledge
