PTHP (Part Time Hourly Paid) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Computer Science/Cyber Forensics
Grade 7/8 £23.57 - £33.90 per hour
Park Campus, Cheltenham
Due to growth within the School of Business, Computing and Social Science, we are looking for exceptional candidates to join a bank of Part Time Hourly Paid (PTHP) staff who can support the face to face delivery of our Computing and/or Cyber Forensic Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in the following subject areas.
· Systems design using traditional methods eg waterfall, DFDs, ERDs etc
· Mathematical and statistical techniques
· Web development eg HTML, javascript, CSS
· Programming languages eg PHP, C++, Java, Python
· IoT development eg Arduino
· Operating systems eg Linux and Windows and use of virtual machines
· Agile eg Scrum, organisational agility
· Oracle databases and development
· Cloud computing
· Data warehousing
· Information systems change eg strategies
· FTK
· Law and compliance within forensic investigations
This is not a permanent position and it does not guarantee employment. It is an opportunity to join a bank which will be drawn upon as and when opportunities arise. The School of Business, Computing and Social Science has a variety of UG and PG courses taught across campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester. This includes Francis Close Hall, Oxstalls and Park Campus, however, Computing is based at Park Campus.
To become part of our team you will be someone who can contribute to exceptional teaching and have related experience along with an ability to work successfully with a range of staff and students across our course portfolio.
Candidates we are particularly interested in would be able to contribute to the teaching in both semester run modules and block teaching.

Desirable criteria:
- PGCAP or equivalent
- Hold a professional qualification (e.g. CIM/CIPD or similar)
- Experience of developing / delivering teaching and learning sessions within an HE environment
