Academic Services Manager
Fixed Term contract until 31st July 2024

The Academic Services team works in partnership with academic schools and other professional departments to provide an excellent student experience at the University of Gloucestershire.
The Academic Services Manager leads a team of administrators, delivering outstanding service to the School of Business, Computing, and Social Science . The Academic Services Manager is part of the School’s leadership team and works closely with the Head of School and the leadership team to develop a rich appreciation of the academic endeavour in their school, including its teaching portfolio, research profile, commercial activities, business development, professional affiliations and community engagement.
Following the schools redesign, Academic Service Managers are focusing on merging teams from social sciences, computing and business to align best practice in administrative processes as well as supporting the school leadership team in across range of activity.
This role requires leadership skills to help bring together a new team to ensure they are working towards a common goal as well as proactive approach to improving processes for efficient ways of working.
We are looking for someone who has experience and familiarity with apprenticeships and/or academic partnerships and can provide advice and support on administrative processes in these areas.
The role is fixed term and would therefore be suited to a secondment opportunity. You will be supported to develop your management and leadership skills.
