Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography 

 

Grade 7 £37,099-£41,732 

 

1.00 FTE (Fractional posts/job share will be considered)

 

Oxstalls Campus, Gloucester

 

The School of Health+ is looking for an enthusiastic academic to join the BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography teaching teamat the University. The programme offers a more personal approach to education with small class sizes and excellent student support. The innovative curriculum has been designed to develop the Diagnostic Radiographer of the future. The courses have been co-produced with key local stakeholders to prepare a sustainable workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond. 

 

 

You will have substantial clinical expertise and a passion for supporting students to succeed in a clinical and/or education setting. Experience of delivering undergraduate and/or postgraduate education in a higher education setting is desirable but not essential. As a lecturer grade you would be expected to undertake a post graduate certificate in academic practice (PGCAP) on appointment to the role. 

 

 

You must be a Diagnostic Radiographer registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold an undergraduate degree in Diagnostic Radiography.  This post requires a DBS check. 

 

 

There is opportunity for full-time or fractional posts within the current academic structure. 

 

 

The School of Health+ will be relocating from its current premises on Oxstalls Campus to the City Campus, a new development for the University that will be a focal point of Gloucester City, and a modern centre for teaching learning and community partnerships.
