The
Communications, Marketing & Student Recruitment (CMSR) department is
sector-leading and has been highly decorated - winning a number of prestigious
HEIST awards. The department has helped the University to achieve growth over a
number of years and is responsible for all aspects of the University's
marketing, UK and international recruitment, admissions, widening participation
and outreach, and all communications andbranding.
The
International team is responsible for on-campus recruitment of international
students, overseas progression partnership development and driving the
internationalisation of the University. The focus of this role will be
international student recruitment for the Far East, and you will use innovative
approaches to secure sustainable streams of students and business. Prior
knowledge and experience of doing business in at least two of the following
markets is highly desirable (China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam).
Overseas
travel will be an important part of this position and the post holder must be
able to operate effectively and autonomously under these circumstances. The University operates an agile working policy;
however the post holder is expected to work a minimum of 2 days on site and
remain flexible as required.
