Academic Services Administrator
0.6 FTE – 22.2
hours per week
Park Campus,
Cheltenham (with occasional presence at Hardwick Campus)
Academic Services provides a professional, high quality, and
customer-focused service for the Schools in support of their academic mission
and strategic priorities.
The Academic Services team based within the School is also part of
a wider University team within Registrar’s Directorate. The post holder would
be working with academic colleagues within the School and professional services
staff across the University.
Business process improvement is at the forefront of our agenda and
Academic Services Administrators are pivotal in the continuous improvement of
processes within their schools and the wider academic registry.

This is a varied role providing administrative support for a range
of activities, including courses and general operations within the School. A
significant part of this role is to provide PA support directly to the Head of
School.
A positive, professional approach is required along with good
organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
from a variety of stakeholders. You will be able to work well in a team
but also be confident to work using your own initiative along with a critical
mind to actively assess situations and take an alternative approach when
necessary.
