Pre-sessional English Tutor (Part-Time Hourly Paid)
Grade 7 £21.79 - £24.51 per hour
Remote (all teaching will be online)
14.8 hours per week
Start date: 06/06/2022
End date: 12/08/2022
We are looking for a Part-time teacher with
experience of teaching EAP to join our team for the summer Pre-sessional Online
course and teach daily webinars to assist in supporting students to achieve the
language level required for university study by practising language and
academic skills.
To teach English for Academic
Purposes to Pre-sessional students online in accordance with the course
syllabus and materials.
To assist in the
administration and marking of portfolio assessments and exit tests.
To provide ongoing feedback
to students and assist them in their studies.
To set and mark homework as
per course guidelines.
To keep accurate records of
students' attendance, progress and performance.
To attend weekly meetings to review
the lessons and plan upcoming sessions.
To prepare, select and use teaching-learning materials for
international students (including the use of textbooks, in-house materials and
self-created materials).
To assist, as and when
required, in the evaluation of the programme and the teaching materials.
