Campus, Gloucester
The School of Health
and Social Care is looking for enthusiastic and experienced academic staff to
support the growth re-launch of the Healthcare Assistant Practitioner
Apprenticeship.
The university’s courses have been co-produced with key local
stakeholders to prepare a sustainable workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond.
This post also offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving
the School of Health and Social Care forward with its strategic plan to deliver
a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond
in collaboration with our strategic healthcare partners.
You will have
substantial clinical experience and experience of supporting students in a practice
or education setting in any Allied Health profession. We would welcome
applications from experienced academic staff as well and those in clinical
practice looking to move into an education environment. There is opportunity
for full-time, job-share or fractional posts within the current academic
structure.
As an academic you
will be expected to have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or complete
the University of Gloucestershire’s Post Graduate Certificate in Academic
Practice in the first year of your appointment.
