Student Recruitment and Outreach Manager
Based at Pittville Student Village, Cheltenham
1.0 FTE 37 hours per week
The University of Gloucestershire has an outstanding and committed Outreach and Widening Participation team that works closely with prospective students, teachers, advisers and parents in highlighting higher education (HE) as a progression route.
A range of activities and events are delivered to raise awareness of and aspiration to HE, particularly to inspire and inform underrepresented groups, as well as activities to highlight the University of Gloucestershire as a potential choice institution.
We are looking for a manager to join our busy team, to develop and manage the university’s strategic partnerships with schools and colleges, working closely with a broad range of university staff in delivering services to partners, target and key feeder schools and colleges.
As the post holder you will work closely with your co manager and colleagues to ensure all actions within the Access and Participation Plan are carried out and with the overall aim to meet key student recruitment targets.
You will also be required to manage a team of 3 and have exceptional communication and organisational skills, and experience of developing and delivering strategic and operational plans.
Experience of working in Higher Education would be particularly welcome.
