Executive Assistant
Based at Park Campus
22.2 hours per week, 0.6FTE
Fixed term contract until 30th November 2022 (Maternity cover)
We are looking to recruit a new Executive Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team of personal assistants in the Executive Office at the University. The team is based at Park Campus, Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the heart of the University, supporting the executive in delivering the institution’s ambitious strategic plan.
Specifically, you will provide professional support to the University Secretary and Registrar, Dr Matthew Andrews, and excellent customer focused administrative services to the executive more generally.
In this role you will confidently manage a diverse daily workload, engaging with both internal and external senior colleagues.
In addition to a varied set of ad hoc projects, your main responsibilities will include a variety of organisational, governance and administrative tasks: diary scheduling, travel arrangements, booking meetings, organising events, setting agendas, taking minutes and updating relevant records.
You will consistently demonstrate a professional attitude to all aspects of work, adopting a ‘can-do’ approach to ensure the success of the team as a whole, as we support online working, an almost paperless office environment and our ambition to provide a highly efficient service.
The successful candidate will have proven Executive PA/Administrative experience and the ability to use a range of information and communication approaches, including Word, Excel, Outlook (email and diaries), PowerPoint and PDF software (e.g. PDF Docs/Adobe Acrobat), have the knowledge and skills to use digital tools effectively and experience of editing website pages
