The role of Data & Systems Assistant will support the
Data & Systems Manager in:
·
Exploiting the potential of CareerHub and Abintegro client
relationship and content management systems to deliver employability activities
(such as events, appointments, jobs, and placements), whilst maintaining data
confidentiality, integrity and availability.
·
Designing, building and editing CareerHub forms to collect
appropriate data from clients.
·
Data collection, analysis and reporting of user
engagement data.
·
Providing first, second- and third-line support to more
than 70 CareerHub Administrators across the University in their use of the
software, as well as supporting stakeholders including students, staff,
graduates and employers.
·
Collection development and management of careers
information resources.
CareerHub and Abintegro client relationship and content management
systems, branded respectively as the Your Future Plan portal and Careers
Explorer for University of Gloucestershire students, staff and graduates,
underpin the work of the Your Future Plan team (Careers, Placements,
Employability) as well as colleagues in some other Professional Services departments
such as the Student Achievement Team and the Student Ambassadors Scheme.
The Data & Systems Assistant jobholder will need a
logical, methodical approach to completing concurrent tasks and projects, often
to tight deadlines, plus a sharp eye for detail, strong customer service skills,
and ICT skills. Knowledge of Excel, particularly Pivot Tables, is key.
