Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Physiotherapy (Grade 7/8)
Based at Oxstalls Campus, Gloucester
2.0 FTE available
The School of Health and Social Care is looking for a number of academic staff to support the growth in Physiotherapy education. The University runs a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme and is set to launch an MSc (preregistration) Physiotherapy programme in September 2021. The innovative curriculum has been designed to develop the Physiotherapist of the future. The courses have been co-produced with key local stakeholders to prepare a sustainable Physiotherapy workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond.
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced academics to deliver a high-quality curriculum, as well as well as highly skilled clinical staff who wish to move into an academic post. We would welcome applications across a wide range of Physiotherapist specialisms including but not exclusively; musculoskeletal, neurological, community and paediatrics. There are opportunities for full-time or fractional posts within the current academic structure.
This post also offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School of Health and Social Care forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire in collaboration with our strategic healthcare partners.
You must be a Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold a first degree in Physiotherapy and have or be working towards a postgraduate qualification.
