The University of Gloucestershire is looking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security for the Technical and Applied Computing subject area, which is part of the School of Computing and Engineering. The subject area has a range of dedicated cyber labs with ongoing investment in technology and software providing enhancement of existing facilities. Technical and Applied Computing has a large team of academics who support over 400 students studying for a range of courses offered in cyber security, digital forensics and computing at both degree apprenticeship, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The expansion of the course portfolio continues with the development of BSc Computer Science, two new MSc courses for 2021 and a further Degree Apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions. The University of Gloucestershire is the only UK University to be awarded the Tech Gold accreditation for its Degree Apprenticeship in Cyber Security Technical Professional and will be welcoming the third cohort to this course in September.
