Description
We are looking to recruit a enthusiastic registered
health professionals to join our growing academic team as we begin to deliver a
blended learning nursing programme in Bath, complementing our current allied
health and nursing provision.
You will need a strong clinical background and evidence of supporting pre-registration programmes.
The Coach in Practice will support Assessors, Supervisors and Students in practice, assisting with ongoing assessment of students, quality assurance and the implementation of a student coaching model in practice.
The Coach in practice role will be pivotal in ensuring students are as prepared as possible for clinical practice from their first day as a student in a clinical area to their graduation as a registered nurse. It is essential that applicants are confident in their own knowledge, skills and ability to teach in their chosen clinical area. Applicants must also be able to manage their own time within agreed boundaries determined by University and local Trust partner.
The successful candidate will work between one of the university’s NHS Placement Pods, this post will have a particular focus on the Bath area. Some travel will be required to Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester and between local placement areas
You will work closely with the Academic Course Leader, Strategic Lead for Partnerships and Placements and our collaborative partners to deliver the vision for nurse education.
