Are you an enthusiastic academic with a strong background in mental health practice looking for a new challenge? 

 

We are a looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic individual as a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing to work with the Academic Subject Lead for Nursing and Academic Course Lead for Mental Health Nursing to join our vibrant and expanding team to deliver our BSc (Hons) Nursing in Mental Health.

 

We are immensely proud of our Mental Health Nursing programme that we have coproduce with practice partners to create a ‘Culture of Care’ in nursing for service users, students and colleagues. As a University we are passionate about making a difference for people in our health and social care.

 

We require applicants to be: 

Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Credible teaching experience in Mental Health Nursing

Enthusiastic in educating others.

Keen to support nurses of the future to care for themselves in order to care for others.

 

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growing portfolio of nursing programmes, supporting the course leader with the implementation of the future nurse standards. This also offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable nursing workforce for our health and care partners.
