Description
The
Estates Department is responsible for the general estate management of the
University’s portfolio of land and property. We maintain and upkeep all
University-owned buildings (both residential and non-residential) including a
number of buildings which are of special interest.
We are seeking an Administrator to join
our busy office team in supporting Estates-based activities throughout the
University.
This role, as part of the Estates
Administration Team, will provide all-round support to the Estates Management
Team with a particular emphasis on finance and procurement. The successful
candidate will be working to ensure Estates financial procedures and processes
are administered and monitored efficiently and within University guidelines.
Acting as the first point of contact for financial queries will require
all-round administrative skills as well as the ability to maintain a high level
of accuracy to ensure finance systems are kept current and all Estates
expenditure is tracked. You will need to be numerate, comfortable working
within a team and have a positive “can-do” attitude.
An understanding of financial
procedures/systems, tender processes and/or knowledge of facilities management
and maintenance procedures would be beneficial.
