Helpzone Advisor (Internal Only), 0.8 FTE
Two temporary roles – 0.8 FTE - 29.6 hours per week working either:
· Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday until July
2020
· Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday until December 2020 or earlier return of the
postholder
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Student Services
Helpzones. We are seeking to appoint two
effective and highly customer-focused Student Advisers to work within our Student
Services Helpzones within the Student Services Department.
The Student Services Helpzone service acts as a highly accessible
conduit for students to access independent advice and guidance for academic or
welfare issues that affect their ability to study and realise their potential.
As a front of house member of staff you will be responsible for
providing effective responses to queries from students, University staff and
the wider community.
The successful candidates will have previous recent experience of working
with students, providing advice & guidance, together with excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Customer focus, flexibility and
organisational skills are essential along with a willingness to provide
students with an excellent experience.
