The Estates Department is responsible for the general estate management
of the University’s portfolio of land and property. We maintain and
upkeep over 60 University-owned buildings (both residential and
non-residential) including a number of buildings which are of special interest.
We are seeking a Helpdesk Administrator to
join our busy office team in supporting Estates-based activities throughout the
University. The successful candidate will assist in running the Estates
Helpdesk service, through which all maintenance Work Orders are assigned and
issued. Acting as the first point of contact for customer and contractor
queries and accurately updating records and documentation will require
all-round administrative skills and an excellent attitude to customer service.
You will need to be a highly accurate and detail-oriented person, happy
juggling multiple priorities with a solution-focussed, “can-do” attitude. An
ability to retain large amounts of information and an understanding of
computer-aided facilities management software would be beneficial.
