One year fixed term post
The School of Natural & Social Sciences is seeking a part-time
Lecturer to contribute to the delivery and development of our expanding
provision in policing, especially the BSc Professional Policing degree. The appointee will join the Social Sciences
subject community which also delivers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in
Criminology and Sociology.
We are seeking a colleague with a background
in operational policing, and would particularly welcome applicants with
experience of community/response policing and critical incident
management.
You should hold a degree-level qualification
(undergraduate or postgraduate).
Previous experience in degree-level teaching and in research would be an
asset.
This position is available for a start in September/October 2019
or as soon as possible thereafter.
