The Service Desk Analyst is a post that forms part of the first-line service of Library, Technology and Information Service
The Service Desk Analyst is a member of the Technical Delivery Team and provides the initial point of contact for all University Staff and Students. The Service Desk Analyst will log all requests on the University Service desk solution providing technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner and where possible will resolve on first contact. You will have a good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.
The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to prioritize task and meet deadlines. They will also possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work using their own initiative.
Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
