Description
37 hours per week, 1.0 FTE
The
University’s social media presence has grown phenomenally in the last year, and
we’re now looking for a Social Media Support Officer to support the delivery of
an ambitious social strategy for the year ahead! From designing creative
content and maximising live video opportunities, to social listening, assisting
with reporting and setting up paid ad campaigns – this role will work closely
with the Social Media Manager and offer a hands on experience of all elements
of social media management.
You
will be a passionate social media champion (who can share that passion with
others!), with experience using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. You
will have a strong creative side, and be able to stay organised across a wide variety
of content creation projects. It will be an exceptionally varied role, ideal
for someone looking to take a step up in their social media career.
With experience
using social media on behalf of a brand or organisation, you will have
excellent attention to detail, a good sense of humour, a confident way with
words and a natural flair for finding and choosing compelling images. You will
have a degree in marketing, media, journalism or PR and have a broad
understanding of student life and the university cycle.
