This is a new role at the University of Gloucestershire, located with the Communications, Marketing & Student Recruitment Department it has strategic and operational responsibility for University UK student recruitment. 

The Head of UK Student Recruitment and Admissions is tasked with developing and implementing the University's student recruitment strategy. Focusing on ambitious targets for growth in the University’s student numbers, promoting University of Gloucestershire to prospective students, teachers, parents and other key stakeholders.   

Working in a competitive environment, we deliver a highly-targeted range of recruitment activities which focuses on key milestones in the prospect journey from initial enquiry through the application process and up to the point of enrolment. Data and evidence constantly informs our decisions to ensure that we provide an efficient and effective service to our customers at all times.

This key new role is responsible for leading the development and delivery of student recruitment from UK markets, including Widening Participation. You will lead the UK Recruitment team and be accountable for delivering to targets at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

You will be expected to engage at a senior level both internally and externally and act as an ambassador for University of Gloucestershire, notably with key feeder schools and colleges. As well as being a key member of the Department’s senior management team, you will also deputise for the Director of Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment where required.
