PhD Studentship in Cyber Computing
|Salary:||Grade 6 £27,025 - £32,236 per annum|
Fixed term post until 31 August 2022
The University of Gloucestershire is growing its research base in cyber computing. In this context, a full studentship (including tuition fees and salary as per above) is offered to the successful candidate to carry out research in areas related to cyber security and cyber forensics.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, high-quality graduate who can support teaching and research in cyber computing and will join the Technical and Applied Computing subject area which is part of the School of Business & Technology.
The successful candidate will have a degree (2:1 or above), or equivalent, in the cognate area and have excellent communication skills, as well as demonstrable success when working in a team environment. Evidence of a research track record will be an advantage. The role includes supporting lecturing staff during interactive lecture sessions and in hands-on practical laboratory sessions on a range of undergraduate modules. In addition to teaching support duties, the successful candidate will be required to register for an MPhil/PhD to support the research activities within the School’s Institute of Cyber Security & Risk Assessment.
