The University of Gloucestershire is looking to appoint two new members of staff in the Technical and Applied Computing subject area which is part of the University of Gloucestershire’s School of Business & Technology. This is an exciting opportunity for talented individuals with a real flair for teaching and research to join the team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growing portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and apprenticeship courses, taking on module leadership roles where appropriate. The research profile of the Technical & Applied Computing is expanding and you will be expected to contribute to the research activities of the team.
We are looking for applications from computing specialists who will ideally have experience of teaching in Higher Education and an interest in the research and development of current technologies. The applicant should have technical skills in programming, systems development and have experience of database design and networking. Recent industry knowledge and an enthusiasm to promote exciting digital learning experiences in the classroom would be an advantage.
