Looking for an opportunity
to support colleagues and students?
The University has recently
published its latest Dignity at Work Policy and Student Bullying and Harassment
Policy reiterating our stance against all forms of harassment. Dignity
Advisers play a fundamental role in the University’s person-centred approach to
dealing with bullying and harassment.
They provide direct support to staff and students who have made reports
of harassment, or those who have had reports made against them.
We are currently looking to
recruit additional Advisers. You will need to have empathetic listening skills
and a non-judgemental approach. The role requires attendance at 3 meetings per
year and additional CPD relevant to the role.
We are looking for representatives from across all campuses / sites and academic,
professional services and grade.
If interested, please
submit your expression of interest in no more than 400 words and send to Clare
Peterson, Equality and Diversity Manager (cpeterson@glos.ac.uk). Your
statement should highlight how you meet the person specification.
